Can patients pay online from their phone?

Yes. Statements include a one-tap pay link. Patient lands on a mobile-optimized page, sees what they owe, what insurance covered, and a pay-now button (card, bank, or HSA/FSA). No login. No app download. Online payment rate jumps significantly when you move off paper-only billing.

How do you reconcile EOBs and ERAs?

ERAs (electronic remits) auto-post to claims. EOBs (paper remits) are scanned and posted within one business day. Every payment, adjustment, and patient-responsibility transfer is reconciled to the claim. Variance reports flag underpayments against your contracted fee schedule.

Do you handle patient statements and payment plans?

Statements go out on a configurable cycle (weekly, biweekly, monthly) with optional text and email reminders. Payment plans get auto-enrolled for balances over a threshold (you set it). Failed-payment retries and gentle re-billing logic recover most plan defaults without involving collections.

When does an account go to collections?

Can patients use HSA and FSA cards?
